How do you contact Ryanair (and other questions about them)

I am trying to book flights for the summer from Rome to Milan. We need to check in a guitar and it works out cheaper to buy an extra seat but they say you need to do that via call centre. I have tried both the Italian line and the UK one and just get a beep beep beep noise. If I try on my mobile it rings (but costs about ?100 a minute!!!!!!!). How are you supposed to contact them??? Am I missing something very obvious??
Also when I tick check in 1 bag it comes up with a charge of ?36 each!!! That seems way more than the table of fees. Can anyone shed any light on it for me?
Thanks

From Ryanair's website:-

"Passengers can purchase an extra seat for small musical instruments such as a guitar, cello, violin or viola which exceed our cabin baggage dimensions. To purchase an extra seat online enter the passenger name for the additional seat as Mr EXTRA SEAT. Alternatively you can contact our reservations department to do this".

Contacting them via their phone line is a good exercise in frustration. Also they can cut you off.

They will charge you for everything including checking in bags for the hold. If you haven't already booked the flight already I would seriously consider using another airline or the train as the concept of actual customer service is alien to them.
