Just back from France and thinking ahead fo next year…..
France (campsite) was wonderful but it was too hot to self cater properly and my vegetarian dh and ds lived off pizza and crepes
Last year we stayed HB in a Melià hotel in mainland Spain and despite me being snobbish about buffets it was really good, both the veggies and fish lovers were happy and importantly it was civilized with no queues! DH and DS would like similar again (we don’t tend to go back to places twice). So, wondering if mnetters have other idea of hotels with a good buffet which keeps vegetarians happy, obviously other Melià hotels are a possibility but they are mostly in Spain and we might like to try a different country (Greece or Portugal particularly)
prefer HB to AI as we like to hire a car and potter round during the day and we’re
not big drinkers.
finally we need some kind of family suite
or interconnecting room arrangement as four of us in a room will not work.
