I am looking at staying in Santo Tomas for 4 nights in September and looking for recommendations of things to do please?

I see they have a night market there

Is it easy to get transport to Cuitadella for an evening and worth doing? Thinking of looking round the old town and having dinner

Cituadella is well worth a visit. It is Menorca’s old capital.

Do you drive? If so I recommend hiring a car. The roads are easy to navigate as it's a small island and it'll give you the freedom to come and go as you please. We've been there many times. Cituadella is beautiful with plenty to see and the non touristy shops have some fantastic produce in. Loads of restaurants to choose from. The island has the highest number of prehistoric remains in Europe and are well worth visiting. The North Coast is much more rugged than the south. Fornells on the north coast is a lovely place to wander around, Alaior in the centre is steep but full of excellent bars and restaurants, Son Bou has the longest sandiest beach on the island. Public transport is good but a car gives you a lot more freedom.
