China Southern Airline

Has anyone flown business class with China Southern Airline? I’d be interested in any thoughts or comments on them, I’m thinking about booking.

I have flown with pretty much all the Chinese airlines, including China Southern. Generally they are nice enough and the service level is pleasant, but some of the aircraft are older and don’t have the same amenities you would get in business class with better known airlines, e.g. the business seats on my plane yesterday didn’t fully recline (but almost did) and the in-plane entertainment tends to favour Chinese movies/series, sometimes with limited English subtitles (and always edited for China). If you’re happy with that then it can be good value, especially for East Asian flights. I tend to recommend Air China or China Eastern as my favourites but China Southern is good enough. All three are 1000x better than European budget airlines like Ryanair so it depends what you’re used to.
