Costa de la Luz recommendations for a last minute week in the sun

I’m looking to book a last
minute week in the sun for DP and me. I’ve always fancied seeing Cádiz and possibly Jerez, and there’s now a flight from our local area to Jerez.

has anyone visited any of the resorts in Costa de la Luz? From what I’ve read it’s much less commercialised which sounds good. However I think it’s also an area where most of the tourists are Spanish I think? I’m not someone who searches out English breakfasts when on holiday but equally I speak no Spanish so might this be an issue? Either way, recommendations for resorts/hotels would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Conil de la Frontera is a nice village near Cadiz. I think I stayed in the Conil Park hotel.

Hi, we have booked to go to Costa de la Luz in September with my 1 year old for a week. We have heard really good things about the area when speaking to people and travel agents in regards to it not being as busy but very beautiful beaches and area. I obviously can't comment on what it's actually like until we go but everything I've heard definitely made me book it

We stayed near here, Iberostar Waves Royal Andelus. It was fab. Love Cadiz and surrounding area.

That hotel was on an amazing beach but if you were ok with a town slightly inland we love Vejer which is stunning and v Spanish. Would be an apartment though as no big hotels.

I have a home here - have a look at Sanlucar de Barrameda, beautiful town, mostly Spanish tourism, great beaches and amazing restaurants. 1hr from Seville, 25 mins from Jerez, 55 to Cádiz.
