Jetparks Stansted?

I've booked to park in the Jetparks car park at Stansted for a week over October half term. Then I looked at the reviews on Google - most complaints are to do with the frequency of the shuttle buses. Can anyone reassure me that it'll be okay or tell me I should cancel and book something else please?

It's not the first time I've parked at Stansted, but I think it's the first time I've used Jetparks.

I think we've used them a few times and it's been OK, probably wouldn't have rebooked if that had been a problem. I expect most people have no problem with the timings, so you only see the comments from a minority that do.

That said it has been a couple of years I think so maybe it's gone downhill. My last few flights from there have all been super early so I stayed over at a hotel instead.

It was fine on the way out but we had to wait ages - at least 45 minutes - for a shuttle on the way back. As we had a long drive on the M11 and M25 afterwards it was very annoying.

Yes, a long wait on the way home is what I'm afraid of. Once I've got over my fear of missing the flight on the way out...

I'm very tempted to cancel it and book something else. I was too tempted by their 'earlybird' offer...

Hi OP I'd cancel as I've seen some awful reviews of cars being damaged and long wait times on transfers to and from airport.
Apparently it's not a legal site and legal proceedings are insitu to get rid.

We used Jetparks once and once only at Manchester some years ago. As well as long transfer times (I remember it taking over an hour to find a space and get the bus to the terminal) there were no marked bays and a lot of people parked badly so while there was capacity on paper, it was half spaces dotted all over the place, so might as well not have existed.

If you cant cancel without losing money you might need to suck it up this time but Moneysavingexpert.com have recently launched an airport parking comparison tool where you can search for their special deals and click through to book.

I've never used Stansted but at Manchester find their official drop and go usually works out not much more than the cheapest off airport operators but much nicer to use.

Ah, thanks both. I had already cancelled it before reading your responses, but you've helped me confirm it was the correct decision. Jetparks did come up on the 'official' Stansted parking website, but that doesn't mean they're any good, and the point about half spaces is very valid!
