Mexico City and oaxaca with a 6 year old

Has anyone done this or similar in August? He’s a great traveller have been to Malaysia and South Africa before.

Mexico is quite well developed especially if you are staying in a nice hotel so it should be no problem

We usually Airbnb as it works better for us but I’m sure it’ll be fine too. Was hoping for ideas of activities etc!

We went to Mexico City last year for a week - stayed in La Condesa area, and it was absolutely lovely - I'd go back in a heartbeat. There are a lot of parks and also children's parks. La Condesa was quiet and leafy. We didn't have kids with us.
