We loved Khao Lak! Stayed at the Tui Blue hotel.

Oh thank you this is one of the hotels I’ve looked at. Was it near shops/restaurants?

The sands is great for families. I think the flora is central, close to the night market etc

We did half board. You could walk to a public beach that had a few bars and restaurants. It was a 10 min taxi or tuk tuk into Khao Lak itself, where there was a fan night market. One of my best holidays ever!

I stayed at the v lovely Sarojin in July. This is adults only though if that matters...Not walkable to the main street. Most are off down a windy track first.

Yes, stayed at the Aspara beachfront resort in a pool villa - absolutely loved it.

Loved Khao Lao we stayed at the Moracea. Would definitely recommend. Wonderful staff, food & just a great resort hotel.

We also stayed in Tui Blue and loved it! Great restaurants on the beach, amazing kids club. Khao Lak is fairly small but we did some great activities in the area.
