Private or shared transfer to Side, Turkey?

I’m flying to Antalya, Turkey next week as a family of 4 (with an 8 and 3 yo) our flight lands at 19:50 on the weekend.
We have a shared transfer booked (included as part of the holiday package) through EasyJet Holidays but wondering whether to book a private transfer.
I’m looking for feedback on the journey from the airport to Side.
EasyJet website says shared transfers take around 2 hours with no more than 8 stops but a private transfer takes an hour.
Is the shared transfer going to be hell and take ages? Should we pay for a private transfer?

Do you want to sit on a coach for two hours after waiting probably two hours for everyone to get on it or do you want to grab your luggage find your tax and be there about three hours before everyone else? Now is the price worth it? Never get a shared transfer if I can afford private

We did the private transfer to Side, and I'm really glad we did as I found out afterwards that our hotel would have been the last stop on the route, so would have taken us twice as long. We also arrived late, and as it was we arrived at gone 11pm, but would have been past midnight if we'd stuck with the shared transfer.

If you can afford it, I would say it's worth it.

We’ve been twice with jet2 and had a private transfer that only took about an hour both times. With a late night arrival it’s definitely worth it

Definitely private transfer. Well worth it. Better air con and no stopping and starting . We always book our own transfer as I hate how long it takes otherwise.
