I know its gorgeous and tropical.i Have seen a decent trip there next February. But its room only. Is eating out expensive? Is there plenty to occupy us(we aren't lying on a beach all week type of people) Keen on nature. Late 60s, not super into activities. Grateful for anyone's experience.

February will still be cyclone season and could be very wet - I'd see if you can push it to later in the year.

Tends to be resorts. Once at resort, you tend to stay there. Depending on resort depends on what there is to do, snorkeling, horse riding etc.
otherwise take a few books.
Some all inclusive some not, check the fine print.
Also check weather at that time of year, I think cyclone season maybe

Just seen that the weather might not be as lovely as id like.😉 and there doesn't seem a lot apart from beaches, water sports etc, think we'll swerve that one. Thanks.
