We generally do Eurocamp-style holidays in the summer and trying to find a similar balance that works for us next Easter (late March / early April) when campsites are closed.
Looking for:
- Teen club/organised for DD (16) to make a few pals
- Location ideally walking distance from an old town with a few restaurants, good food, atmosphere - but failing that, somewhere which isn't an extremely high-rise / over-developed area (which seems to be most of the teen clubs are!)
- We don't want to have to do All Inclusive
- Opportunities to get out and about for day trips that involve nature / walking / wildlife / history / culture / pretty towns.
- 20 degrees in or around. We won't die if the weather isn't good, just a few afternoons by the pool.
- Totally open to locations that aren't long-haul but weather wise, thinking Crete, Corfu, Canaries, Malta, Madeira, Andalucia, Algarve.
- Will sun loungers be busy this time of year? Just the Canaries? Or all these places?
Last year we stayed outside Tavira which suited us all very well but DD has very reasonably said she'd love to be able to make a few friends like she does in campsites.
