Have been twice here and there is so much for little ones, esp the pool, car track, bouncy castles etc at the goody goody. ds loves it! but would like to try somewhere else next year, with similar things for pre school age children. any tips welcome!

just back from Majorca ( palma nova) which had all the above however I prefer Menorca as its less "british" if you know what I mean. Will watch this thread with interest though.

If you're going to Mallorca, Alcudia is lovely - beautiful and v. long beach which is fab for kids as the water is shallow for ages and doesn't just drop away; just stick to the port end which is lovely and where there are less lobster-coloured, tattooed people (ooh, I'm such a snob!). 3 years ago we stayed at the Hotel Alcudia in a large, spotless room which was a pleasant 5-10 min stroll to the beach, but includes crossing a couple of busy roads. Kids entertainment and some evening entertainment good (& free) www.majorca-mallorca.co.uk/hotel_alcudia.htm

We chose self-catering and popped to nearby bakery every morning for breakfast rolls & pastries and there's a small supermarket nearby hotel.

Also, aqua park nearby; great fun for all ages.
