Villa in France

Can anyone recommend a villa in France with at least 3 bedrooms and a pool for August next year.
we would like to be walking distance to a pretty village with cafes/shops and near a lake or beach.
Will have teenagers with us.

Somewhere near the Ardèche river could be good. Plenty of beaches, some with kayak and SUP hire. Pont d'Arc is the famous spot. There are loads of beautiful pool villas on Gites de France around pretty villages like Ruoms, Balazuc. Lots of five-star campsites right by the river. Saint Martin d'Ardeche further downstream is just over the river from the restored medieval village and castle of Aigueze. Lots of other things to do and see in the area as well.

I haven’t been to France since I was 12 but have some lovely memories so looking forward to going back.

We stayed in exactly that at Ile De Rey this year (just off La Rochelle - which also has a well connected airport). Loved it and the village (Rivedoux-Plage) was great.

We used VRBO, if you search Ile de Rey there are loads of options
