Lost property on Ryanair flight - advice needed

Wondering if anyone has any tips on recovering lost property from a Ryanair flight?

I think I dropped a digital camera by my seat during a flight to Stansted this afternoon. The aircraft was in London for around 90 minutes in total, which I'm (perhaps naively) hoping indicates that the cabin crew did a thorough sweep of the plane.

Ryanair seem quite adamant that they don't handle lost property claims directly. I understand that if protocol was followed, it would have been handed into the lost property team at the airport, and I've registered it with them. I've also tracked the aircraft and emailed the airport which it flew to next.

Has anyone had positive outcomes? Would appreciate any other tips on how to maximise my chances of being reunited with it.

Thanks in advance...

Yes it’ll be the ground staff that clean the aircraft so it’ll be the airport lost property. All you can do is register it with them and hope for the best!!

What @somanychristmaslights has said plus I believe from some previous stories that use of Facebook etc has sometimes led to the retrieval of lost items such as cuddly toys.

If the item is valuable and attractive that might change the odds somewhat - good luck.

DH left his mobile on a 'plane @ Singapore. It arrived at our UK address c.3 months later, so don't give up hope.

Yes we lost something on a plane when we changed at Frankfurt last year, we did the lost and found form, uploaded a photo of the item, a few days later they said is this your item? I confirmed, they said how much postage would be, it arrived at PILs two weeks later. Airports can be quite organised, I really didn’t believe we’d get it back.
