We have a caravan in St Oysth, which is near Clacton. On site is a small indoor pool with sauna and jacuzzi. A games arcade, bingo hall, very small funfair, pub/restaurant, kids club, park and evening entertainment.
We were thinking of renting out for the school holiday.
Would £220 a week in Aug be ok?
It has 2 bedrooms and pull out bed in livingroom, fully equipped kitchen and decking outside.

Its not a wonderful site, 10 mins walk from the beach. Where would be best to advertise?
Would you pay £220? Not done this before so dont really know.
TIA
Lisa

TBH I think £220 in the school hols sounds very reasonable. I think there are websites etc that you can advertise on but would probably have to pay a registration fee. Could you put up cards locally? At your/DH's/your parents' work? In the post office/school/clinic/toddler group?

I guess I just worry as its nto an upto date site and worried people might think £220 is too much. Its very much like when we were kids. Fish and chips, crabbing on the beach, the pier ect.

I think it depends what people want - whether they want a big site with lots of ents or somewhere a bit quieter. The only thing is that I think you may have left it a bit late for this summer as most people who need school holidays will have already made plans.
