Does anyone know Madrid well? DH is going to be there for work for a few days later in the year and we have the opportunity to join him for a few days, tagged straight onto the end of a family holiday elsewhere in Spain.
I've got absolutely no idea where in the city we should try and base ourselves. We would like to visit the Zooaquarium and Parc Attractiones with 2 year old DS, and will need to be able to get about on foot with his travel pushchair or using public transport.
DH will be working beside the airport so easy access for him will be required, although once we've gone he'll switch to a hotel closer by. Or would it make sense for us all to stay reasonably near the airport and travel in and out of the city each day instead?
Any suggestions that I can use as a starting point are welcome. Also any other top tips for Madrid with a toddler would be great. We won't have tons of time there but a day and a half or so to fill outside of the attractions mentioned above, one day of which will just be me and DS.
Thanks in Advance
