Recommendations for Spain or Portugal resorts with toddlers for first abroad holiday

Hey,
I want to book my child’s first abroad holiday for next September, he will be 2 years 8 months at this point. As it will be our first time on a plane, I’m not wanting to go too far, so thinking Spain or Portugal.

Please can I have recommendations on resorts that have everything (thinking holiday village type thing) that would be suitable for that age.

We went to Domes Algarve as first holiday with a baby but in November. It has an outdoor heated plenty warm enough for little ones. Rather than try to recommend you a resort, ik try to recommend you a month! September could still be very hot on the Med. November in the Algarve is a perfect 25°, blue skies, get away from the miserable grey damp without everyone getting cross because it's hot and not so much suncream needed. It's also cheaper than September.

Menorca is very family friendly it’s much quieter than Majorca, short flight & transfers from the airport fairly short as well, easy to get around the island lots of different types of accommodation worth giving it a look.
