Holiday recommendations?

We're thinking of looking at booking a holiday abroad in April '27. Can anyone recommend a country and resort they've been too where there will be plenty for our 4 year old to do and not too hot?

What kind of temperature are you looking for? What type of holiday/budget?
Short or long haul?
Europe won't be very warm in April. The canaries will be very pleasant, low to mid 20s usually.
