Recommendations for aparthotel or campsite on Costa Brava

Would really like to go to Costa Brava next year - we would like to be somewhere near a beach and town, not hilly, as one of our children has a disability, preferably in an area used by other English speaking families. Would consider self catering in a hotel with access to facilities or a campsite with large accommodation. All recommendations welcome!

Have a look at castle mongri in estartit. But it’s not near the beach - need to drive or take a bus.

we were at playa montroig last year which is south of Barcelona and loved it. Big modern bungalow with towns near by.

we went to the following camp

Oh, we went there about 30 years ago and apart from a day trip to Lloret de Mar (not the nicest place but we were on a city break to Girona and it was the easiest place to get to on the bus and to be fair, it wasn't as horrific as I feared, there was a nice old bit, a castle and a nice beach and I swam in the sea) we've not got round to going back, partly because we've just been elsewhere and I've now decided we need to visit about a dozen places in the area between Cadaques and Santa Susanna and we need to drive again going through France and the Millau bridge on the way down, which wasn't there when we last went and up to Northern Spain on the way back, dropping in at the Estacion de Can Franc hotel which is a spa hotel in an old railway station in the Pyrenees. So we'll need about a month to do all that.

Or we could just go on any old trip when we want a few days in the sun but that would be too easy. But Tossa de Mar is nice I've heard and that also has a castle. Also L'Escala, which has a big Roman Ruins complex nearby.
