Currently looking to book and overwhelmed by the choice of hotels (they all look great). We have already been to Greece a few times, but are looking to try somewhere different this time.
We are looking for something a bit luxury, all inclusive, great food and kids pools/entertainment to suit a range of ages, close to the beach (bonus point if it’s on the beach!), and not TOO far from an airport. Also, would like to avoid the daily pool sun bed wars if that’s possible.
Any recommendations would be great, TIA

This is not ai but I would recommend picture suites, agios stefanos, Corfu. They bring your breakfast to your room, private pool and general pool (hardly anyone there). Steps to the beach but they save you beach sunbeds and give you water. I don’t like other people enough to go ai but this has a beach bar and nice restaurants within walking distance. Boat hire, paddling boards available.
on reflection this is probably not you as no entertainment (my idea of hell) but maybe when the kids are older).

I think it’s really hard to find a good all inclusive, you’ll get much better food going out to restaurants.
We just had a family holiday (our kids are teenage girls) to Skiathos and stayed bed and breakfast At Elizabeth studios. It was lovely, 15 minutes from the airport, beautiful beaches, loads of boat trips and because it’s such a small island really easy to get about. We went all over by bus, it only takes about 40 minutes to travel the entire island and it’s so cheap, 2 euros!
No sunbed wars at hotel, the breakfast was lovely, the rooms are air conditioned there’s a little supermarket literally next door. We’re going to go back next year.

We stayed at Kerkyra blue hotel and spa in Corfu with DD about 8/9 years ago and it was amazing. It's on the edge of the water so you can go in the sea. It's not a sandy beach but was lovely. There was grass from the pools to hotel rooms and you had sun loungers with each room so you could always have one somewhere.

There was an adults only pool and part of the restaurant so when DD went in the kids club we used those. It had a lovely Japanese restaurant which had sushi and kid friendly bento boxes which was delicious and a traditional Greek restaurant.

I think it was a TUI blue when we went but it doesn't look like it is part of TUI anymore. They had great kids club and a lovely outdoor entertainment arena. It was also only about 15 mins from the airport. You could see the planes coming in to land from the hotel but it wasn't too noisy. It was one of our favourite holidays

We had the most amazing time at this AI hotel in Rhodes https://www.loveholidays.com/holidays/rhodes/faliraki/cyprotel-faliraki.html?WT.mc_id=pgo-38299865482-kwd-39969620634&ch=hn&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=702263935&gbraid=0AAAAADy4anerrx8UDeYJ1YRk5NAx4O4LO&gclid=Cj0KCQjwp9vTBhCWARIsANaUrjtVtaSIFx_kNSbNw_QiJISlNY5no-HR9FIkhfGyIzydUKayp_qY1eQaAkKREALw_wcB

Amazing waterpark, different pools, pool bar, entertainment and they take you to the beach by free tram (but it's also walking distance) and walking distance to shops/restaurants

Following! Been looking at ikos resorts but not sure If they are worth the £££

MsSquiz · Yesterday 15:08

We were at Ikos Odisia 2 weeks ago and it’s amazing.
we’ve visited Ikos Dassia 3 years in a row previously and it was beautiful but Odisia beats it by miles.

its expensive but worth every penny in our eyes

Stella Palace is very nice and ticks all your boxes. We had a swim up room to avoid sunbed wars, was nice and peaceful!

Dublassie · Yesterday 21:48

Yes Stella P is lovely . Not Ikos standard but the buffet is lovely , the a la carte restaurants are very nice and as a PP said - go for the rooms with direct access to the pool. Really nice . Excellent air con !
Only negative is theere are no a la carte for lunch and the inclusive wine is poor .

Dublassie · Yesterday 22:06

And the waterpark is superb !

YouSawBrigadoon · Yesterday 22:08

Ikos resorts are great.

Dublassie · Yesterday 22:11

I only do Ikos but as far as I know Sani is NOT all inclusive ?
