KLM hand luggage sizes just out

I have numerous small suitcases - a couple are brand new. All measure 55x25x40. I’m flying to Italy with KLM in 2 weeks. Their luggage size allowance is 55x25x35. Do I really need to buy another case?!

They will put it in the hold.

The “proper” airlines like KLM tend not to check the size of hand luggage but they did weigh one of ours. It came out 10g over and still got a Cabin Approved sticker. 😂
