Recommendations for relaxed family holiday solo

Next summer I will have more holiday than my husband. I'm thinking of taking my 3 and 5 year old away for a week on my own. Can anyone recommend any relaxed resorts with lots to entertain kids, ideally near a pretty village? I know Greece well but open to Spain and Italy too. I was thinking of Ikos but worried that the kids might get bored. I won't drive so don't want self catering. Budget probably up to £5k, maybe a bit more. I don't want any kind of stressful fights over sun bed and drunk adults resorts and I don't love the vibes of full english breakfast, people drinking pints in the morning type resorts (no offence to those who do).

Some ski resorts such as Morzine are great for young families in the summer months.

We like the Ikos group and really enjoyed Estepona with plenty for slightly older DD although unsure for younger DC, but unless you are going outwith term time it would be vastly over budget.

Are they okay with new childcare providers? Would they enjoy the activities at Mark Warner/Neilson's?

They generally are. The dream would be to find a kids club that starts at 3 instead of 4 as they'd love to go together and would hate to be split up. Lots I've seen, including Ikos, have a separate (additional charge) club for under 4s and another for 4 plus. I'll look into Mark Warner and Neilson's. Obviously they're a bit young for water sports, tennis etc which I associate those with in my head but maybe they have other things for little ones.

Ski resorts are not a bad shout, maybe some of the kinderhotels like Sonnweis could work. If we were to do Ikos, we'd do Greece as that's in budget whereas the Spanish ones seem much more expensive and too much for what is just an extra holiday for me and the kids to spend time together.
