Recommendations for Eurocamp sites near beach and town for young children

We’ve just come back from our first Eurocamp holiday and loved it.

Can anyone please recommend sites good for a 6 and 4 year old that hopefully fit the following criteria:

• no car required (so cheap transport (bus/uber/taxi) to the camp)
• direct access to, or a 5 minute walk to, a sandy beach
• good pools and maybe waterslides
• entertainment in English
• can walk into a local town

We like a lot going on, so we don’t want to be in the middle of nowhere or on a camp with little to do.

I’ve spent hours scouring the Eurocamp site using all the filters so would appreciate some personal recommendations.

Thanks 😊

There's a Eurocamp in Lido di Jesolo, Italy.

There's a Eurocamp in Lido di Jesolo, Italy.

I came to recommend one near here in Ca'savio , we went without a car a few years ago and really enjoyed, not sure about the entertainments though. A day trip to Venice was great and of you go late August there are fireworks along the beach one weekend.

There is also one near Barcelona which is great to get to on bus from the airport, it was in Sitges.

We've also done Duinrell without a car which has loads going on but you do need to cycle to a beach. Very easy though, as plenty of cycle paths and you can hire bikes there.

Ca'Savio Village Plus Venetian Riviera | Adriatic | Eurocamp

Just a boat ride away from Venice, Ca'Savio is a large, bustling campsite with five swimming pools and direct access to a beautiful sandy beach

The ones we have done without a car are Bella Italia in Lake Garda, Italy and Vilanova Park in Catalonia, Spain.

There’s a couple on the south east side of lake Garda

Duinrell is close to Amsterdam airport. Theme park/waterpark, easy walk to the local town.

La Chapelle. South of France.

Fly to Perpignan or Girona then taxi transfer. The only criteria that doesn’t fit is entertainment in English.

Sorry to jump in, anyone know any that are open in October half term? I'm sure I found one but these all look closed then :(

We’ve done La Chapelle without a car. Really enjoyed it. Easy walk to beach and town. Short taxi from Perpignan airport. Used Ubers a couple of times which were easily available for trips slightly further afield from the site.

@Lelly78 October half term we’ve done La croix du Vieux Pont. Definitely need a car for that and it was the last week of the season so very much winding everything down. Still had a good time though.

Duinrell is open all year round, but you would be best booking directly.
