How much time to allow for passport control in Barcelona?

Going on a European holiday soon, just wondering what time I need to allow at the airport for passport control queues. We have a DC under 12

We're flying back via Barcelona on a Sunday evening.

We were there a few months ago & unfortunately the queue was a couple of hours long - we were flabbergasted!

Very fortunately for us, I was using my disability scooter as I don’t walk very well, so was able to get to the front. I think we’d have missed our flight otherwise.
I strongly recommend that you check with the airport / airline and don’t risk missing your flight - good luck!
