Hi, hoping someone might be able to help. I'm floundering to plan a summer holiday and running out of time! I'm looking for somewhere to go with pretty countryside and quiet roads for gentle leisurely cycling trips (between cake stops 😁), drive-able from Calais. It would have to be be round trips from a base, not the entire length of a long distance cycle path
Has anyone been to the Rems Valley in Germany? And would it fit the bill? Or is this a crazy choice? No real idea what to expect there, but it was mentioned as a postscript to an article about great places to go in Germany.
