I’d love to take my teenagers in the next few years but don’t have the first clue on where to start with trying to book things. Initial thoughts is that we’d like a villa with a pool and go for two weeks (is that even long enough? It’s going to be a one off)
if anyone has done it and has any advice or tips I’d be really grateful.

There are loads of you tube videos about planning and going to Disney and I am going in 2028. Some of the you tubers are a bit odd and annoying but some are entertaining and they all have a wealth of knowledge.

the biggest decision is on property or off property. On property means a Disney owned hotel. These are more expensive but can work out better value as they can be packaged with tickets and the most important - free dining plan!! And free transportation and less travel. The cheapest time to go for brits in summer is August after the US schools go back.

For me an DH next year at port orleans (moderate) riverside was 3k for one week for hotel dining and park tickets (only) You can fit 4 in a room so I think it would be cheaper for you.

there are businesses who organise and plan it for but that is half the fun. There are 4 parks, 2 water parks and Disney springs area.

There are three levels of hotel, value, moderate and deluxe. The dining plan for value resorts isn’t very good in my opinion. The moderate dining plan is two meals and a snack.
