I need help!

Where would you go mid October for a special trip? Looking at 3 nights budget of £2k. Looking for beautiful scenery, nice walks and relaxation. Can be in the UK or Europe. Ideally staying in a hotel rather than Airbnb.

anywhere but London or Paris please!

I don't mind flying somewhere either!

What do you like doing? Art, theatre, ruins, architecture? Do you need restaurants, the beach? Anything else?

Rome

@GodIhatethepatriarcy i like most things but for this specific holiday I'm looking to relax in a scenic setting like the country side/mountains or the beach. Restaurant in the hotel is fine. I've had a tough year and need to recharge so not looking for a city break although I do love Rome @Likeiloveyou

Malcesine?

Where are you, roughly and how far are you prepared to travel? You probably don't want to spend too much time getting somewhere for a 3 night break.

Come to Ireland. Recommend the K Club or Kelly’s Rosslare. Both are lovely family owned hotels with great restaurants & relaxing spas. The K Club is on beautiful grounds & surrounded by countryside, Kelly’s is on Rosslare strand - excellent for long walks on the beach.

Somewhere in the Douro valley?

Cotswolds - anywhere with a good hotel. North Yorkshire? Northern Ireland? Cornwall - Hotel Tresanton. Nice and hire a car? Stay in a village around Grasse or similar. Bologna? Lots of interesting places nearby and great food.
