After help and recommendations please. Taking my son on his first holiday abroad next year he will be 6.
Looking for all inclusive with a couple of
slides. Somewhere we can go outside the hotel into the resort easily.
Not Turkey or Egypt as it would be to hot for him. Spent days looking online but hard when you dont know the resorts.
Also dont want to go anywhere you have to get up at the crack of dawn and race to the sunbeds.

Would you consider Cyprus? There are several hotels which allocate sunbeds to guests or have a reservation system.

Olympic Lagoon is the best one for waterslides.

Malta' brill for what you're describing. The weather's hot but cooler than Turkey/Egypt), most all-in have their own water slides or are right next to a beach and zero sunbed culture. Families with young kids, no one's stressed about claiming a 6am sunbed.
Hotels like the Hilton or other hotels in Mellieha have that setup where you can pop in and out of the resort easily, grab lunch when you want rather than on a schedule, and kid can potter about in the pool when they feel like it instead of being dragged to activities.
Germany's trickier for all-inclusive with slides, it's more self-catering or half-board, and honestly the weather wouldn't help you much (it's cooler, but you'd need more planning around activities). Malta just fits better for what you've described.
