Holiday for teens

So any recommendations for a 2 week package holiday with a 15yr old.
So 2 50yr olds and a 15 yr old boy.
We normally do a beach holiday. Self catering apartments, pool/beach during the day. Couple of days trips to water park/activity.
Nighttime dinner, wander around, bit of shopping and few drinks and a dance, back to apartment around midnight.

We have been to Portugal, Lanzarote, Orlando, Salou, Turkey In the last 5 years.

Is that what he’s really happy with? DD (also an only child) was honestly miserable on this sort of resort style holiday when she got to that age - bored at the pool/beach, lonely without her friends, too cool to hang around with us 24/7 or participate in any of the entertainment.. I could go on! She was so much happier when we started doing shorter city breaks alongside more activity based holidays.

Lake Garda has Gardaland theme park, Movieland and a good water park. There are also a few treetop Go-Ape style rope courses, plus of course loads of water sports on the lake and it’s a great place for cycling.

Agree with Cappuccino. We’ve an only child ds but have never done a beach holiday as he hated them. At that age his favourite holidays were a Mediterranean cruise - basically lots of city breaks with unlimited food. And 2 weeks in Thailand with lots of activities

He seems happy with the resort holiday. He asked to go back to Turkey this year. 2nd year in a row. Apartment had water slides, daily organized games eg water polo, darts and football and a gym. He didn't seem to mind pool days, he brought his ear pods and book down to the pool. At night he had his favorite bar where we knew the staff from the year before so he was getting up to dance(which I was surprised he was still willing to do).
He gets bored quicker on city breaks, the walking around sight seeing doesn't hold his attention for long.
We can't afford to bring a friend with us and to be honest he hasn't really got that 1 friend that we would know and be comfortable with.
