Recommendations for durable water shoes for rocky beaches and snorkelling

Snorkellers, swimmers and beachgoers of MN, can I ask for your advice regarding water shoes, please?
My little family and I always seek out hidden coves with picturesque rocks far away from standard sandy beaches..
I am after some recommendations for sturdy water shoes that don't rip and melt away in a matter of days. We are talking climbing on rocks, jumping in, being careful of potential sea urchins. So far, I had no luck, everything just rips, and the inside thin material melts away.

Is my only option to get one that is literally like some boot or trekking shoe? Or do you have first-hand experience with something great that lasts?

I’m a wild swimmer and use these. Much more robust than any I’ve had before and they’re still going strong after two years of regular use: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/adult-elasticated-water-shoes-aquashoes-120-lagoon/312722/c98c9c177m8574806

I use these. I know they say they are for kayak etc but the sole is very thick and non slippy . Had them 2 years now
