Holiday help!

Our planned motorhome holiday has gone pear shaped as she broke down on the way to the ferry. I now need to make a new an exciting plan for 2 adults, DS of 17,15 and Dd10.

We like active holidays, sunshine, pools, opportunities for culture. Pretty easy going really.

Ideally under £5000, can travel any time in the next 2 and a half weeks.

Any inspiration hive mind???

Lake Garda - fly to Verona - lots of activities going on and tons culture. Venice, ferry accross the lake, walking, Verona etc

Where are you based?

We're in Northamptonshire, so easy to get to airports and ferry's

Couple of suggestions. Costa Brava, fly into Girona, find a villa in the Begur area. It’s a lovely town with good food and loads of little cove beaches and wonderful day trips, Roman ruins, hill top towns and of course the Dali museum.

Croatia, island hopping. I’d stay a couple of days near Dubrovnik as it’s amazing (go in early to avoid the cruise ships and book a guide for a few hours) then do some Islands.
