Thinking about where to go next…Which sites do you think are best for families? La Gomera was amazing, as was Madeira. Physkos was great for us in a villa as we had our own pool and the surrounding area was very family friendly but I felt for the families using the communal pool as people were complaining if they tried to have the slightest bit of fun. We experienced similar in Lanzarote where we got tutted at for our children jumping into the (empty) pool and racing each other, but at least there we had the option of the main non HPB pool.
Which other HPB sites have you found good for families?

Do you know that there's a FB bondies group? You might get a better response rate there.

We love the French sites and also the Trossachs.
Le mont st Simon is great for visiting Paris for a day and Disney for a day.

Trossachs is lovely for walking and it is possible to get to west coast of Scotland for a day.

But we have aways been France/UK people.

Thank you, I haven’t been to St Siméon since I was a teenager, it’s probably changed quite a bit!

I haven’t been to Tigh Mor but it’s been on my wishlist.

I think you need to remember that a lot of HPB members are older and canaries/madiera are where they escape the UK winter - my parents go to La Gomera for 3 weeks every Feb.
The French sites particularly Brittany are much more family friendly. My DD was 13 when we went there and she had a great time with other teens in the pool.
St Simon is also a lot of families and the Bergerac has so many pools that it is possible to find the right pool for your family.
