Best travel sterilising options for a formula-fed 4-month-old on holiday

We are going on holiday with our 4month old in October! She will be on formula and I’m looking for the best options for sterilising when travelling. We have some microwave bags (if the hotel can sort us a microwave for the room). Looking to use ideally the Milton cold water tablets, but for the container does it need a lid? I brought the PandaEar collapsible bucket but not sure it has a lid to it.

You can use pretty much any container, and if your need a lid, surely just use some foil or cling film. On holiday I think I used a saucepan as a Milton container for one and a tupperware for the other occasion.

Might be controversial and please feel to not take this advice but when we travelled before our children came off bottles we just used a collapsible bowl and the Milton tablets. We washed the bottles thoroughly and sterilised them in the bowl but no we didn’t use a lid. Done this multiple times with both children and never had an issue

If you have a microwave then that should make it fairly easy. If not you can get cold water steriliser tablets with a strong plastic bag.

If you have access to a microwave, Dr Browns steriliser bags. Literally a reusable sealable bag that you put water in, the.n microwave.
If you’re in a hotel rather than self catering, you can ask the kitchen staff to do it and I always found them happy to do so.
