Long weekend in Berlin

I am thinking about a long weekend in Berlin at the beginning of December. I want to visit a relative’s war grave and wondered what you would recommend doing or seeing. Are there any Christmas markets in Berlin that would be worth visiting?

Berlin is a fascinating city but wrap up warm in winter!. There's lots to see and the people are lovely. My friend tells me it's great for vegan food too.
