Hi, has anyone ever been abroad over Christmas/New Year. Me, dh and 2 year old dd really fancy getting away from it all this year and wondered where would be a good destination. Anyone know of any good/cheap companies to book through? Any advice is much appreciated! thanks, Tracy

Been to Australia a few times to visit family! Other than that, I can suggest trying any of the Canaries or may be even Dubia but not sure how expensive that would be. Best place to start would be Thomson or First Choice Holidays unless you have the time to research a book it yourself?

You could also register at www.travelzoo.co.uk and have a look on there.

Not many english there, quite a few german and russian and its where the spanish people go

I've been to the Caribbean twice (dom Rep) and the maldives twice and had brilliant holidays each time (except being evacuated from the Maldives after the boxing day tsunami!).

The Dom rep is about the best value in the caribbean and the weather is great 28-32 degrees. I would look at first choice/ ecipse direct or thompsons.
