Solo holiday in October - where would you recommend?

I’ve got 10 days don’t mind long haul I was looking at Sri Lanka however it’s starting to get into the wet season there so I would have to stay on the east eg Trincomalee But I do not want a five hour transfer, unfortunately!

Where would you go?

I went to Bali solo and had a great time on a group tour but would have felt safe enough to be by myself if I hadn’t have been on a tour. I loved ubud, Lovina and Sanur, found the rubbish quite confronting though.

What type of holiday? Sightseeing or lie by a pool? Maybe a bit of both?

Singapore has a lot to do in a small space, actually you can lose a day or two just at the airport.

I went to Japan solo late Oct last year and it was amazing . Perfect t:shirt warmth and lots to see and do .

Oh thank you all! Singapore and Japan are planned for next year - but I think I’m going for Vietnam!
