Which Neilson resort for May half term?

I’m very tempted by Neilson’s super early bird offers for May half term next year. It’s basically the first week of June, and it would be just me and DS going (DH has to work and it’s not his sort of holiday so a good time for us to go).

Are there any resorts you’d particularly recommend or avoid at that time of year? I’m not good in high temperatures so I think it might be better than August (we’re tied to school holidays) but will the sea be too cold?

The Neilson website is giving me:

  • Alana (Croatia)
  • Baia Dei Mori (Sardinia)
  • Vounaki (Greece)
  • Levante (Greece)
  • Messini (Greece)
  • Torre de Barrone (Sicily)

Yes the sea will be cold. But that’s ok for sailing or kayaking. And May/June works better for tennis or bike rides. Do any of them have a heated pool as that would definitely swing it for me (pools are generally also too cold in May half term).

Greece is best bet weather wise, further south the better

I think Levante is Rhodes? If so that will most likely be warmest but I’d still pick any resort with a heated pool
