Delays at Paris airports due to biometric screening

Has anyone flown to/from Paris recently and experienced the really long delays due to biometric screening that I keep reading and hearing about? I'm super stressed that it's going to be a complete nightmare!!

I flew in to Paris a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t take any longer than it usually would to get through border control. Definitely less than an hour from landing/security/baggage reclaim. Coming back took longer, our flight was delayed by 30 minutes because there were still people in the queue waiting to get fingerprinted. And this was even after they opened the priority queue to get everyone through faster.
