Looking to propose to my girlfriend later this year. I have this vision in my head... Relaxing in our own hot tub on the edge of a cliff with the most beautiful sunset. I have been looking at Santorini. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in Santorini where I could do this or a nice hotel somewhere else in Europe where I can get the gorgeous sunset views from a hot tub/pool?

Santorini? More likely to have views of numerous Cruise ships and hoards of tourists queuing to get the perfect Instagram picture..

Unless you are prepared to pay £500+ per night, you are not going to get a secluded hot tub.

In the UK, have a look at the Scarlet Hotel in Cornwall.

That’s what I thought, rude meanies.

Slightly different but in Venice you can get private water taxis and they can arrange engagements.

Santo Pure Oia, it's incredible. You can book a specific sunset jacuzzi suite. Ask for the corner room as it's very private.

That would be my choice out of the ones suggested so far. Admittedly I haven’t been to the Scarlet Hotel though.
