We're off to Disneyland Paris in a week with two tweens... Any tips very gratefully received!! I've never been before and I'm a bit nervous about the crowds and the heat, but also excited. We're staying for three nights in a Disney hotel. TIA :-)

The best thing you can do is go on to you tube and watch as many of the many vlogs about it all as you can. Particularly recommend Megan Tayler and Luce and Andy Adventures as they’ve done very recent ones. We went last month and loved it.

Download the app.

Take in plenty of snacks and refillable water bottles. Do the odd fast past if you can afford it. Enjoy.

Use magic hour if staying in a Disney hotel, much less queues but work out which ride you are going to head to (not all open).
Use the app to see wait times and agree to use the odd fast pass if saves times etc (can buy for individual rides).

There are some great Facebook groups. Search Disneyland Paris Tips and you will find them.

Make the most of magic hours - especially for crush coaster and the frozen ride as it’s the only times the queues are short

Learn your way around the app
Dont over plan
Queues are quieter first thing, during parades and end of the day.
the nighttime show is best in the Adventure World - tons of space and good views all round the lake - avoid the pushing and shoving that happens in the Disneyland park
watch a parade at least once
ride the train in the Disneyland park on the first day - gets you a good overview of where everything is

We started at magic hour & stayed in the parks into the night.

best thing was having restaurants booked so we could sit down a while, rest & refresh.

Make sure you know how the virtual queues for characters work . Definitely use the app to check ride times .
