Hi Everyone,

I'm new to mumsnet and am after some friendly advice. I love taking my niece to indoor softplay centres but often find, especially on a weekend, that the big kids ruin it for her. Does anyone know of any indoor playcentres that are just for little ones (Under 4's)? I'm prepared to travel just about anywhere!!!!

Whereabouts are you? There's one in Letchworth, Hertfordshire called Tumble Tent which is for pre-schoolers. I don't know if there's an actual age-limit but it's not big enough for anyone over five.

MummyDoIt - whereabouts in Letchworth is that one? Sounds interesting....

I've been to Big Space in Harpenden. Great on weekdays (apart from parking problems), but hell on earth at the weekends (older children and organised birthday parties).

It's on The Wynd. Very close to the station. I'd check opening times as they do hold lots of children's parties there, especially at weekends, but I think it's open for anyone during school hours.

When you say you'll travel anywhere, what sort of area are you looking at within that travelling possibility?

MuffinMclay · 26/06/2008 09:35

Thanks MummyDoIt. I'll check that one out.

I'm based in Bristol but have family in the midlands so we're more than happy to travel around and make a real weekend of it!

Hmm, Wickie, Tumble Tent is very small! Not sure it's worth a long trip.
