Trip.com if I book a tour in China that includes tickets can I just use the tickets only?

Going away to China and I've used Trip.com to book a few things. I'm not big on guided tours but some things only come bundled with that option. Most things in China don't have physical tickets and is just a swipe of passport, so I'm wondering if I can just turn up on my own, swipe and go in.

You are massively overpaying this way; you would be better just getting a Didi to the place you want to go and paying at the door. Most things in China don’t require pre booking unless you go during national holidays. Aren’t you concerned that the guide will be waiting for you somewhere and trying to contact you etc? I just couldn’t do with the hassle!

Don't know if it's the case in China but a lot of attractions generally have different, usually cheaper, pricing for tour groups so your entry might not be valid unless you turn up as part of the group.

I'd also question whether it's actually true that you can only go in as part of a tour group. Could it be that it's just the organised tour providers paying to appear at the top of search results, making it look like that's the only option?

Trip.com don't generally sell tickets only for attractions. I've noticed a few paid tours where entry to the place is actually free but needs to be booked in advance. This is common for museums in China. What you're suggesting would probably work as long as the booked time slot is used (and the time slots are usually wide, like 10-12), but I would at least let the guide/organiser know you prefer to do this.
