Separate room for teens

We haven't booked a summer holiday this year so I'm looking for an easy package booking but struggling to see how can get something where DC (13&15) get one room and we get another in a standard booking - they all seem to specify that there must be one over 18 per room.

If I look at booking directly then they stop classing child at 14 so at that point it seems I could book what I want but I'd prefer the convenience of flights and transfers just being included.

Am I missing something?

You book two rooms, one double and one twin. You say that you will be the lead adult in Room 1 and your DP is the lead adult in Room 2. You ask that the rooms be adjacent, opposite or very close together. Then you put the teens in one room and you and your DP in the other. Done!

This! My parents did this every time we went away until we were old enough to pay for our own rooms each.

OK so I'm overthinking it then 😂. I guess I like to follow the "rules" but should accept that in this case that's unnecessary

I always booked two rooms and put one adults name on each room. I paid for four adults but then had two bathrooms, double the storage space etc. I do the same on cruise ships too.
