What to do in Augsburg for 2 days?

Just that.
Me and my 15 year old. Not really in the mood for just walking round aimlessly "sightseeing". No car but dont mind short and easy train/bus journeys (although I'd rather not). We don't want to do a formal tour eg a walking tour.

It's an accidental stop over basically. Lomg story but there was a mistake with booking some stuff so we've ended up spending a few days here.

Its very pretty, cathedrals and palaces and beautiful squares. Have dinner in a beer cellar, lunch in a beer garden and enjoy. You could get the train to Munich the day, visit Dachau or go to Legoland in Ulm?

It's only 20 minutes by train from Munich, if you haven't been previously I would day trip and see Nymphenburg palace or Residenz Munich or one of the other myriad of museums.
