Anyone currently in Cavtat Croatia with Ultrasun suncream!!!

I know this is a very longshot

But we are currently in Cavtat in Croatia and DD has just run out of her suncream. She is highly allergic to pretty much all other brands and the only one we have found she can use is Ultrasun. We have searched the local area and even our lovely host has been calling round local pharmacies, but they do not seem to stock it anywhere.

So I am reaching out on the off chance anyone is staying nearby and has any Ultrasun suncream they would be happy to part with? We are here till Tuesday and do not want her to have to stay indoors for the next few days.

Thank you 🙏

(And yes, I feel terrible we didn't bring extra but thought the 100ml we did bring would last the week)

Try some of the sensitive/eczema friendly ones abroad. They have a much better range than the UK.

I feel your pain, my kids react to them all except ultrasun and badger

You might be able to make an account on local Amazon or German Amazon (who deliver all over Europe) and get a delivery to your hotel

We had an electronics emergency while in France last year and found a click and collect option for a very niche charger. That might be worth a try - and Amazon do lock boxes too.

100ml is a tiny amount. I dont know why you thought that would be enough! Hope you get something sorted

Thank you, that was a great idea and I created an account but unfortunately the earliest delivery was Friday 10th
But great to know for any future emergencies, thank you

In case this helps - my DC was allergic to loads of suncreams and the only one that was OK was the P20. This might be ok for your DD and available where you are.

Can you get her a long sleeved rash vest and some board shorts to keep her more covered up in the short term?

Yes - this would be approximately one day’s worth, if you reapply three times a day. Did you bring similarly small amounts for everyone else?!

If you can’t find an alternative (I agree with the pp who suggests P20) and can’t get a rash vest for her then why not choose one of her t shirts and pyjama shorts to sacrifice as beach wear/swim wear? They will get bleached and trashed but it will be worth it!
