Has anyone done a self drive tour of Uganda?

What kind of vehicle? Many of the roads are pretty bad and you’d need to be an experienced 4x4 driver. Yyyy

We’ve done a lot of 4x4 driving all over the world - not concerned about that. Just wanted to chat to others who have maybe done the same.

Dh did some driving in Uganda. He is a very confident driver and loved it but the driving is really insane over there. People overtake on both sides. If there’s a traffic jam at a roundabout then the boda bikes just go round the other way. No way I would even dream of attempting it myself!
