Anyone been to Residenza Capriciolli, Sardinia/other recommendations?

I'm thinking of booking two weeks here on the basis of the recommendation in MN Reviews but am a bit nervous about doing it without any other opinions. Anyone been?

Or any other recommendations for apartments near beach, with pool and children's playground? Not Dune resort - can't afford it.

Can't comment on the place you are talking about but this is our first trip to Sardinia too. I did loads of research but struggled to find somewhere which met all our needs and budget.

We are going to Hotel Flamingo in Santa Margherita di Pula - approx 45 mins from Cagliari. Mixed reviews on Trip Advisor but we are trying to remain positive as the positive reviews totally sing the hotel's praises to the heavens! Hotel Flamingo looks amazing and I love their strapline: 'In one of the most suggestive corners of Sardinia'! I prefer the idea of low-key apartments around a shared pool, I think. One more bump...
