UK Spa break recommendations

Me and DD (20) are looking for a nice spa break weekend in the UK, budget about £1000 for 2 nights but really struggling to find anything that has indoor and outdoor pool, a treatment each and that luxery feel. Any recommendations please?

I’m not sure if £1k would cover two nights but check out the Woodland Spa. It is exceptional.

You could do Moddershall Oaks on that budget.

We love Dylan Coastal Resort.

The answer to this question is always Ragdale.

beachreader · 27/06/2026 00:15

Check out Ragdale Hall, ticks all of your boxes

beachreader · 27/06/2026 00:16

@TinselAngel Perfect answer! I’d literally just posted the same!

Ragdale is the answer to most questions.

Carden Park.
I'm not sure if you could get it for that budget however.

Second Woodland Spa. Also Buxton Crescent or Rudding Park

Hore Cross Hall, fabulous place

OneLimePombear · 27/06/2026 23:13

What area?

horseplay12 · 28/06/2026 00:48

Ragdale is the absolute best I have ever been to.

NeverEverOhNo · 28/06/2026 00:49

Ragdale!

horseplay12 · 28/06/2026 00:49

Hoar Cross is nice too, but Ragdale is absolutely the best.
Buxton Crescent is ok for an afternoon but not what OP is after IMHO

TinselAngel · 28/06/2026 10:48

Hoar Cross is not as nice as Ragdale.

Pootles34 · 28/06/2026 10:58

Hoar cross is enormous and always heaving. It's impressive but not luxury, if that makes sense? Probably cheaper than ragdale.

OneZanyCat · 28/06/2026 11:02

Ragdale is nice.

I went to Hoar cross once after numerous times at Ragdale and was miffed that I was only allowed one towel, and I had to queue up for it.

Another vote for Carden Park, never feels crowded like other spas I’ve been to and it is stunning. Has a modern/ cool vibe as well that DD might appreciate?

WimbleOfWombledon · 28/06/2026 11:54

They usually do offers on spa breaks in summer as well
