Looking a holiday for a family of 5 and the choice of resorts is overwhelming me! We want to go to Portugal or Northern Spain. We can hire a car. We are happy driving a few hours from the airport, and can get to most airports so basically anywhere is possible. We don't want Madrid, or Mediterranean Spain just because we've been there recently. We will relax by the pool, eat nice food and if there are things to do/ see like a city or a forest park we will go but it's not a deal breaker. Main thing is having nice, hopefully reasonably priced, restaurants. Can you suggest a resort/ town/ village to narrow down my search please?.
