Purely Maldives travel agent?

Has anyone used the travel agency Purely Maldives to book a holiday to the Maldives? They seem responsive and helpful over email but really small so they don't have reviews on Trustpilot. Their quotes are quite a bit cheaper than some other travel agents but I don't want to take risks when it's still quite a lot of money....

Alternatively, Kenwood Travel seems fairly reasonable and has a good Trustpilot rating, but there have a been a few recent negative reviews from people who haven't had a good experience during the uncertainly caused to flights by the US-Iran conflict. We've used Kuoni before but they're quite a lot more expensive plus their Trustpilot rating is actually worse than Kenwood Trravel!

If anyone can recommend a good travel agency who are experts in Maldives holidays, I'd really appreciate it.

I’ve used them a couple of times - not for a few years as it’s been a while since we went to the Maldives but they were great. The prices were good compared to other agents and everything went very smoothly when we travelled. Would recommend them! Also, have an amazing time!!

Yes used them and they were excellent and will use again. They’re who I recommend to anyone who asks, found them much better than the big agents.

Are they atol protected etc?

My partner and I used Purely Maldives for our holiday earlier this year and they were excellent, very professional and helpful. My sister (lucky soul!) has gone there several times and now only uses Purely Maldives as she highly rates them.

Have just checked their website - yes they are ATOL protected ☺️

Thanks, I was just about to reply to @Duvetdayneeded to say I think they are! Just feels a bit like going off-piste. They seem to have the most personal touch though - Kenwood were responsive but impersonal, Kuoni were also very responsive but I'm not sure what more I'd be getting for the extra cost, except maybe feeling special in store when you go in for your appointment! Last time we used Kuoni is was because I knew what kind of holiday I wanted but didn't have a clear idea of what resort would fulfill our needs (or even where to go!). But this time I know exactly which island I want to visit, which villa type I want and when to go, so I'm not sure what added value Kuoni would be providing.

Thanks for the reassuring recommendations, @gwhizz75 @SunshineAndTears and @TheRealWhacker 😊

Not used them, but have ever only seen people say good things about them and I think I would be happy to use them myself, I just usually book everything separately myself.

Sorry bit late but yes I used them and they were good- came in cheaper than any other agents plus their recommended resorts actually ticked our requirements - unlike several other agents who suggested places that didn’t fit the bill at all.

The only thing to note is that resorts often offer free cancellation up to eg 30 days ahead if you book directly with them, booking.com often does too, whereas agents can’t offer this. So depends whether this is valuable to you.
